Just stayed at this location on a layover after a longer international flight. When we arrived on property there were several guests asking for earplugs - and we soon found out why. The hotel was hosting a large group of students who were literally running wild through the hotel. They were slamming doors, playing tag in the hallways, screaming - basically acting in ways that no sane person would see as ok in public - let alone an airport hotel. We really tried to be understanding in the hopes that someone would step in as time progressed. Our first complaint was made at 10pm. And the staff literally showed no interest in helping to resolve the situation. Excessive noise continued until around 2 in the morning. No apologies were made by staff. Nothing was offered to make up for the fact that we had a mostly sleepless night. Staff really seemed like they couldn’t be bothered.

Update: New booking last night. Had to downgrade my review because there were kids running loudly in the 2nd floor hallway during quiet hours. Called the front desk 3x and they said they were dealing with it. It was still going on after that, so I got the sense that the front desk just didn't want to deal with it after a while and tried to avoid my 3rd call (heard elevator music a lot). I get that hotels need income from large school groups, but I dropped my review by 1 star for every 15 minutes of noise until there was only 1 star left. I felt devalued as a guest simply because I didn't pay for a large block of rooms containing children. Old Review: Booked at the last minute after a YYC flight cancellation late in the evening. Surprised that we got a king suite for cheaper than their standard room rate. Even more surprising was that the room was half the cost ($175 with taxes) of the YYC Marriott in-airport hotel (standard, $390 at the last minute) we stayed at in the spring, and at least twice as nice, so it was under the hotel reimbursement limit for Westjet. We booked directly through the IHG app. I think we just found our new emergency airport hotel at YYC! The one negative is that the location near the airport with most of the other airport hotels means a $20-25 cab ride. Still worth it though.

The reality doesn’t match the pictures on website. The lobby is small, half of the main floor is dark, it’s freaky!!. Only 2 counters at front desk and 1 person working. Coffee maker in room did not work. Shampoo and hair conditioner bottles were empty. Breakfast wasn’t good at all, hot food available was scrambled eggs, beans, very small diced fried potatoes,, no bacons. Very disappointed!!!

Very much enjoyed and impressed with this hotel stay. Cosy room and comfortable beds/pillows, great coffee all day and delicious fresh breakfast! Close to Samaritan's Purse Canada and Calgary airport.

Black Mould in roll-in Shower

Unfortunately, we found black mould in the accessible suite roll in shower. The front desk staff showed no sympathy what so ever. I will not be booking here in the future. The property manager is not available to speak to at 8:30am. I was notified that I would be contacted later today. My stay was from Monday-Friday. I checked out early in lieu of.
